The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programs in the world, backed up by more than 35 years of ongoing research. Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children's behavior and prevent problems developing. Triple P level 1 materials and the marketing guide are located on our google drive.
Five for Families is a statewide public awareness campaign developed as a universal prevention strategy by the Wisconsin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. The primary goal of the campaign is to increase knowledge of the Protective Factors Framework, an evidence-informed, strengths-based approach to child maltreatment prevention and family well-being promotion.

Room to Grow campaign is a public awareness campaign designed to promote and increase knowledge of family resource centers in Wisconsin. You can request the Room to Grow community outreach toolkit here. The toolkit includes customizable print and media materials to raise awareness about the services your family resource center provides for your community.

April is designated as National Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month. In Wisconsin, we celebrate April as Family Strengthening Month. Each year the Prevention Board partners with the Department of Children and Families and Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin (PCAW) to create a toolkit filled with ideas, activities, and resources to encourage community-based prevention efforts in April and throughout the year. The Period of PURPLE Crying is an evidence-based program describing a normal period of crying in the first few weeks and months of life that ALL babies go through. The Period of PURPLE Crying begins at about 2 weeks of age, peaks in the second month, and becomes less in the third to fifth month. Period of PURPLE Crying Dose 3 campaign is a public education campaign sponsored by the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome to create awareness of the leading trigger for infant abuse: frustration with infant crying. This annual campaign generates awareness of the Period of PURPLE Crying and helps to prevent shaken baby syndrome through educational efforts.
