Catching Kids Doing Good

The “Catching Kids Doing Good" campaign includes videos and organic social media materials to raise awareness of the importance of giving positive attention for children's good behavior.

It is important to let your child know when they have behaved well. Experts have found that giving kids positive rather than negative attention is much more effective in changing behavior. Also, research has shown that one of the most powerful and effective methods to encourage children's good behavior is positive reinforcement. It allows parents to discover children's individual strengths and draw attention to their personality traits and interests.

“Catching Kids Doing Good" campaign materials were partially funded by Grant Number 2001WIBCC6 from the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the Administration for Children and Families, or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
